Ham take-over and conveyor to cutting line

The aim of the project was to design and implement an efficient and hygienic conveyor solution for transferring hams from the saw conveyor to the cutting line. The solution combines multiple conveyor components:

• Roller conveyor: A driven, pneumatically tilting unit with stainless steel frame and plastic rollers. It receives hams from the saw conveyor and ensures a controlled transfer to the next stage.
• Round-belt conveyor: A driven conveyor that takes hams from the roller conveyor and transfers them at a 90-degree angle, reorienting the products for further processing.
• Modular belt conveyor (Conveyor 2): Approx. 6850 mm in length, with a 400 mm wide lamella and equipped with a UniFlex ONE modular belt. It provides continuous product flow from ham pick-up to the cutting line.
• Main frame and controls: All conveyors are mounted on a stainless steel frame, which also houses an integrated stainless steel control cabinet containing all required device controls.
• Safety devices: The entire line is equipped with the necessary safety components to ensure user protection and smooth operation.

The system ensures high hygiene standards, robust durability, and optimized product flow. The implemented line enhances production efficiency while reducing the need for manual handling.
